Previously, Jan worked as a generalist investor at H.I.G. Capital and has held several strategic finance and chief of staff roles at mission-driven startups focused on education, access to work, and climate. Jan holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and economics from Northwestern University.

In his spare time, Jan is an avid skier, runner, and hiker and loves reading about history, economics, and politics.
